About Plymouth
Plymouth is a beautiful city, in South Devon.  Within thirty minutes you can be in Cornwall or on Dartmoor. Exciting cities like Paignton, Torquay and Exeter are only an hour away by car. There are also excellent rail and coach connections to these tourist attractions at a very reasonable price. The city of London is three and a half hours away.

Plymouth’s waterfront surrounds one of the most beautiful natural harbours in the world. There are many popular events held here throughout the year. These include the Transat race, powerboat, and Honda Formula 4. The British firework Championships are held on Plymouth Hoe every year in August.
The Barbican is world famous for the Pilgrim Father’s and Sir Frances Drake. In the heart of the city explore the historic delights of the Elizabethan House and Merchant’s House or see the beautiful John Piper stained glass windows of St Andrews Church - the mother church of Plymouth. Discover the colourful history of Plymouth Gin, or the tranquillity of the Barbican’s Elizabethan Garden.

Plymouth is a multi cultural city, and this can be seen within the vibrant clubs, cafes and restaurants on the Barbican and city centre. Whether it’s a quick snack, traditional pub lunch, or an extravagant meal, Plymouth has it all.
The city centre has fantastic shops for all tastes and purses. You will find large world famous stores and small family businesses.  We now boast an amazing new shopping centre called Drake Circus.
There are many attractions in Plymouth and surrounding areas which will give all ages a fantastic day out. These include the National Marine Aquarium, Drakes Island, Tinside Art Deco swimming pool and the Pavilions, Entertainment and Leisure Complex. We mustn’t forget the world famous Eden Project which is less than an hour away in Cornwall.
These are only a few of the things you can expect to enjoy. Please visit www.plymouth.gov.uk for more information.

About us
We are a new school with many years of experience in teaching, hosting and activities amongst our highly qualified staff. We decided to bring all our skills together within one company and formed Language Leap UK. Our experience with students of all ages and ability over the years has shown us that not all their needs have been met in the past. At language Leap UK we put you first. We put your requirements first and we let you choose the activities that suit you. See our activities page for more details.
We offer some new ideas. If you don’t want to do the traditional afternoon activities, for a small extra cost you can change some of your afternoon activities for another language. At the moment we are offering English as the main language and Serbian, Russian, German, French, Italian, Armenian and Spanish as an extra language. Check out our course page for more details. We are also offering information technology (IT) courses, music and professional flower arranging. If you want to stay with the traditional afternoon activities then that is okay too. See Our Team Page.
You will have the choice of studying in small or larger groups. We have very high standards at Language Leap UK. All students will be given the support and encouragement they need to reach their goals.
Work experience will be arranged before you come so you will not be disappointed when you arrive. Where possible we will put you in contact with your placement before you arrive. This helps to break the ice and lets you send them an email telling them more about you; in return they can then give you more information about them. Contact Us for more details.
Business English is available to all companies, large or small, based in the UK or abroad. We will arrange a package for your staff to suit their needs, and yours. See our course page for details.
In the near future, we will also be offering distance learning. There will be more news about this as it happens.
