Language Leap UK prides itself in having fantastic host families registered with the company. We will always send you details of the host family when your booking has been confirmed. This means you can contact them before your arrival and lets you get to know each other before you arrive.

The family will be there to greet you on arrival and departure.

The bedroom will be clean and comfortable so it feels like home. It will have storage facilities for your clothes and books etc. You will know in advance whether your room is single or if you will be sharing with another student.

There may be other students from different nationalities staying with the host family. These students may be in their own room. This is a great way of making new friends.

Some families have wireless connection available and this can be confirmed on enquiry. Some bedrooms have TV, satellite and DVD.

You will be made to feel very welcome and part of the family.

The host family will provide you with breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal daily.

You may use the host family’s phone if you have a pre-paid phone card.

Living with a host family gives you more freedom and immersion in the English language.

You will have excellent food and taste local traditional foods such as pasties and scones with clotted cream.
